The information structure used to encode all the information associated with an entry in a dictionary.

Usage Notes


data Structure Relation Thing     This subsumes all structuring relations used for LinguisticDataStructures. As a naming convention to distinguish relations in data structure from other relations, all names of dataStructuringRelations begin with 'has-'.
has Lexical Unit Thing     This relates a LexicalItem to a LexicalUnit, those elements commonly represented in a dictionary.

The concept "LexicalItem" refers to "dictionary", which is not defined in GOLD, and it does not mention Lexicon at all, though a Lexicon is defined as a set of LexicalItems.

Suggestion: replace "dictionary" in the definition by "Lexicon"
